Nike partnered with Megan Rapinoe to mark the close of a historic career defined by excellence, leadership, and cultural impact. The campaign celebrated Rapinoe not only as one of the most accomplished players in the sport, but as an athlete who consistently used her platform to drive change, earning deep respect and admiration from fans worldwide.
The work came to life across high-visibility DOOH placements in Los Angeles and New York, supported by social and print content timed to her final home game with OL Reign. In collaboration with the team at TOGETHER, one of our art directors and our lead animator contributed to the campaign’s visual execution across all touch points. This included bespoke motion design for digital billboards at Circa LA and Nike’s W 34th Street location in NYC, as well as animated assets for Nike’s Instagram carousel and supporting event materials.
The campaign generated significant engagement online, with Nike’s announcement surpassing 100k likes and sparking widespread conversation around Rapinoe’s legacy and impact.
